If you are disgusted by the first image, then you need to use the second.

Can you guess which are facts and which are myths about STD's (sexually-transmitted diseases), also sometimes referred to as STI's (infections)?

1. You cannot get an STD from oral sex.
2. If you have an STD, it can be detected because it is visible.
3. If you're super paranoid, use two condoms instead of one for better protection.

Answer: THEY ARE ALL MYTHS!

1. You cannot get an STD from oral sex. Not true at all. Anytime you "go down," you are at risk. The only way to be safe is to use protection (a condom or a dental dam). Very important, THE PILL DOES NOT PREVENT STD'S!!

2. If you have an STD, it can be detected because it is visible. The whole, "know it when you see it" claim is bull, plain and simple. While it is easy to detect STD's when signs and symptoms are visible, many people go without knowing they are infected because a significant amount of people do not show any signs. Also, very important, when someone tells you 'I've been tested,' that's NOT enough. Many people think that tests can ALWAYS pick up any infections. NOT TRUE. Tests are important, but some tests can only detect STD's when there is clearly an outbreak.

3. If you're super paranoid, use two condoms instead of one for better protection. Don't even think about it! Despite what Boys Like Girls say, two is not better than one(in this case)! With all the rubbing from two condoms, there's a higher risk of the condoms breaking or slipping off. Bad idea, folks.

I promise to keep 'em coming (no pun intended). Stay safe!
